Prepare to Dive into the Epic Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom Trailer

All hail the one true king! Get ready for the aquatic adventure of a lifetime as Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom splashes onto the big screen, arriving exclusively in theaters on December 20.

Director James Wan reunites with the indomitable Jason Momoa, alongside an ensemble cast featuring Patrick Wilson, Amber Heard, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, and Nicole Kidman, in the highly-anticipated sequel to the highest-grossing DC film of all time: “Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom.”

Black Manta, thirsting for vengeance after his initial defeat by Aquaman, returns with an even fiercer determination. Armed with the formidable Black Trident, he harnesses an ancient and malevolent power. To confront this growing threat, Aquaman must forge an unlikely alliance with his imprisoned brother, Orm, the former King of Atlantis. United by a common purpose, they must put aside their differences to safeguard their kingdom, rescue Aquaman’s family, and protect the world from imminent destruction.

Returning to their iconic roles, Jason Momoa embodies Arthur Curry/Aquaman, who now faces the delicate balance of being both the King of Atlantis and a newfound father. Patrick Wilson reprises his role as Orm, Aquaman’s half-brother and former nemesis, who must now embrace a reluctant partnership with his brother. Amber Heard portrays Mera, the Queen of Atlantis and the mother of the future heir. Yahya Abdul-Mateen II returns as Black Manta, more determined than ever to exact revenge on Aquaman and Atlantis for his father’s demise. Nicole Kidman graces the screen as Atlanna, a formidable leader and a warrior at heart. Also joining the fray are Dolph Lundgren as King Nereus and Randall Park as Dr. Stephen Shin.

Directed by James Wan and produced by Peter Safran, Wan, and Rob Cowan, “Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom” promises an oceanic spectacle. Galen Vaisman and Walter Hamada serve as executive producers.

The screenplay is crafted by David Leslie Johnson-McGoldrick, based on a story by James Wan, David Leslie Johnson-McGoldrick, Jason Momoa, and Thomas Pa’a Sibbett. These characters, borne from the DC universe, pay homage to Aquaman, created by Paul Norris and Mort Weisinger.

James Wan reunites with his exceptional team of “Aquaman” collaborators, including director of photography Don Burgess, production designer Bill Brzeski, editor Kirk Morri, and composer Rupert Gregson-Williams. Michelle Silverman oversees the music. Visual effects supervisor Nick Davis and costume designer Richard Sale contribute their expertise to bring this cinematic marvel to life.
